Anonymous: hey, i think imma but me a used ukelele, what is the regular price for them? (also you're wonderful)
They range from $30 to $100+, the decent ones like the Kala brand are around $50. I recommend getting a cheap one and getting nicer strings! Amazon has tons of cheap ukuleles so check it out over there.

HELLO FRIENDS YES HI
for first ukes, get a cheap one and different strings, but be aware that some cheap ukes have really high nut on the fretboard and can make your uke sound like shit for higher chords and be difficult to play. stay away from diamondhead 0/10 would not recommend. try and get a wood body if you can instead of plastic!! wood has a much richer, nicer sounding tone than plastic does! you’ll pay a little bit more (cheap ones being $50), but if you just want something to mess around with before committing, then plastic’s fine (:
for cheap ukes, I would recommend makala or leolani~
LISS IS FAR WISER ON THE WAYS OF THE UKE THAN I
Anonymous: would you be upset if some one was to get those 3 cat heads tattoo'd on them?
Not at all, that would be extremely cool! Please send me pictures if you do, I’d love to see it!
Anonymous: sooooooooooooooooooooooooo i know you lived in providence, butt where do u live now?
Boston! So many ramen places, it’s the best.
Anonymous: i miiiiight be madly in love with your art
aww you’re sweet thank you
Anonymous: can i ask how you start out with your drawings? do you draw them on ordinary paper first and scan them and then color them or??? thank you! <3
I just sketch something on Photoshop with my tablet, I don’t scan things in! Erasing things in PS is just so convenient and clean, I feel like I can sketch more loosely digitally.

Part III of Hourly Comics or My Life Is More Melancholic Than Yours, even though the day ended on a happy note, thanks to the power of music and vitamin C.
This is it! End of the show! Thank you for all the kind words, I hope your Saturday was more eventful than mine.

Anonymous: living in a box is better than having roommates........
Aw man, roommates can be fun too! I’ve had awesome roommates to watch movies with and cook dumb things, plus it is a lot cheaper to share an apartment. If you find someone clean and cool, having a roommate is the best thing ever.
Anonymous: you live in such a nice part of boston and by yourself I'm so jealous...
I live in a studio apartment so it’s not exactly enviable living situations hahahgh it does beat having annoying roommates though, do give it a try if you can. Join the Melancholy Brigade.
Part II of Hourly Comics (or My Life Is More Melancholic Than Yours). Boston looks best during the day but I enjoy walking around the city in the evening. Fairy lights and hiccups.
